1.0 About Course
ISO 17020:2012 Lead Auditor Conversionย course is the highest level certification for assessors ofย Quality Management Systemย accreditation of Inspection Bodies. You will learn how to audit QMS against ISO 17020:2012 standard in accordance with ISO 19011:2018.ย You will receive a Certificate of Achievement issued by TCB as an IACET USA Accredited Provider with 3.5ย IACET CEUย as per ANSI /IACET 1:2018 standard for global recognition.
This course equips the professional with the knowledge & skills required to plan perform and report and follow up a Quality management system of an inspection bodyย as per the accreditation standard ISO 17020:2012
Thisย course is delivered in 24-hour guided Sessions (3 Days X 8 Hours/Day or 6 Days X 4 Hours/day ) . This comes with an IACET CEU, granted by TCB Cert. Worldwide LLC, an IACET USA Accredited Provider

2.0 Course Objectives
This course is aimed at professionals who want to
- ย Develop competence to plan, perform, report, and follow up Quality Management system audit as per ย ISO 17020:2012 in accordance with ISO 19011:2018 and ISO 17021:2015 Standard as applicable,
- Successfully certified personnel shall able to conduct Internal and External third-party audits on behalf of the Accreditation bodies for independent third-party Accreditations .
3.0 Prior Knowledge Requirements
Learners joining this course must have completedย a full 40 hours of Management system auditor courses that included Planning, Performing , Reporting and follow-up of an audit as per ISO 19011:2018 and Iso 17021:2015

- Terms and Definitions and Familiarity with ISO 17020:2012ย standard
- knowledge of audit principles , processes, auditors attributes, skill sets , how to plan , and perform audit including conducting opening and closing meeting gained throughย successful completion of a complete management system auditor training of 40 hours duration (e.g ISO 9001:2015 Auditor/Lead Auditor Course)
- You will be required to provide a valid certificateย ofย Lead Auditor Course acceptable to TCB. Accredited Certificates such as CQI/IRCA or IACET, or Exemplar Global is acceptable .
4.0ย Learning Process
The delegates shall attend the full 24-hour tutorย sessions either in person or Virtually Live
Upon registration, you will receive a set of standards (ISO ISO 17020: 2012, ISO 9001:2015, and ISO 19011:2018 for self-study .
In the self study preparation Stage , you will complete the following Chapters and quizzes. In Stage 2 we will have an overview of these learning areas by Q&A, Clarifying doubts to enter stage 2 for a seamless learning experienceย

For in-person tutor-guided sessions, the learners shall be provided with one set of books and study materials, case studies, and output forms. For Virtual Learning in Stage 2, the learners shall gain access to TCB LMS, download the Course materials, and print a copy for reference during the course
The course can be customized to be presented in 3 full days X 8 Hours/day, 6 days X 4 Hours/day for the convenience of the learners. Upon successful continuous assessment based on their performance, contribution, and participation in the workshop the learners shall write the Virtually live proctored exam conducted by TCB ,

Overview of ISO 17020:2012 standard
A Sample Contiguous case study of TCB for its QMS as perย ISO 17020:2012 . You will review a sample documents, procedures, Inspection attributes, and all records of a living system that has been accredited byย Gulf Accreditation Centre (GAC ) the Accreditation body of the Six GCC Countriesย a full member of ILAC.ย The case studies are most realistic and would give you a real lifeย experienceย of auditing of an Inspection Body for its conformity to ISO 17020:2012 requirements .

5.0 Examination and Evaluationย
Upon completion of the training. TCB shall examine the entire standard and Audit process using a state of art software “Classmarker”. This is a fully Computer-based exam with objective type questions, single-choice and multi-choice,ย subjective and essay-type questions,ย mix& match, and true & false questions with a duration of two and half hours.
The exam shall be proctored online live on a given schedule by a live proctor. The exam link shall be shared with a password. The learners shall write the exam and answers will be automatically saved even if not submitted by the learners. The learners can go back to improve or correct earlier answers and can move to the next questions by putting a simple “?” mark and flag the question to come back again. In this process, TCB will be able to assess the learning outcomes of each learner and provide individual feedback on their strength and weaknesses for them to know the areas of strength and areas that need to strengthen.
The exam is an open book where the learners can refer to the standard and notes taken, dictionary except reference to online resources. Taking Picture of the screen and with the external device is prohibited. Learners can not Cut and paste, all answers have to be typed using a normal Keyboard. We recommend a Laptop or a desktop, a reasonably good speed 4G. Once the results are marked by the evaluators in the class markers software,ย the learners will get their certificate in their email box instantly with 2.4 IACET CEU which is a global gold standard as per American standard ANSI/IACET 1:2018 standard
