EVENT PURPOSE

World Accreditation Day is celebrated globally on 6th June every year to recognize the important role played by accreditation in strengthening quality, competence, confidence, and trust across industries and organizations worldwide.

This virtual event is being organized to:

• Reaffirm our collective commitment toward credible accreditation and accredited certification

• Highlight the importance of integrity, impartiality, and competence in certification systems

• Create awareness regarding the role of the International Accreditation Forum (IAF), Accreditation Bodies (ABs), and Certification Bodies (CBs)

• Discuss the importance of Multilateral Recognition Arrangements (MLAs) in ensuring worldwide acceptance of accredited certifications

• Address concerns regarding the growing risks posed by parallel ecosystems operating outside internationally recognized accreditation frameworks

• Encourage auditors and quality professionals to uphold ethics and professionalism in auditing and certification activities

• Celebrate the global community of TCB-trained auditors and quality professionals

• Officially release the book: “Transform Your Life & Business – The ISO Way” by M S Ray
