ISO 42001:2023 Lead Implementer Course

Management system consultants can play a crucial role in developing a robust AIMS based on ISO 42001:2023 to ensure organizations are able to demonstrate its responsible use in an effective manner by implementing and maintaining suitable controls.   ISO/IEC 42001:2023 Annex A and Annex B provide controls and guidelines to help organizations select, implement and manage controls, taking into account their risk environment. It contains 9 security control clauses, which cover 38 controls. These controls apply to all types of organizations in AI ecosystem. Additional controls and guidelines can be added as required. This 40-hour course can be delivered as a five-day or customized with a longer number of days with shorter duration, in-person or Virtually Live course.

Learning Objectives: 

Upon completion of this course, you will develop Knowledge and Skills to:

• Explain the purpose and business benefits of Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS), AIMS standards ISO 42001:2023

• Explain the scope and structure of ISO 42001:2023 and Annex A
• Identify the benefits of implementing controls from ISO 42001:2023
• Determines best practice to implement controls as recommended by ISO/IEC 42001:2023
• Provide Guidance to Implement chosen controls from ISO/IEC 42001 Annex A

• Help organizations to Plan. Perform, Report and Follow-up Management system audit an AIMS audit in accordance with ISO 19011 (and ISO 17021-1 where appropriate).

Who should attend?

This course is suitable for those who is, or will be, involved in planning, implementing, maintaining, supervising or assessing AIMS in accordance with ISO/IEC 42001:2023, and persons wishing to learn about effective implementation practices. Existing Quality professionals, information security auditors, and other ISO Practitioners who wish to expand their auditing skills in ISO/IEC 42001:2023 AIMS auditing. The course applies to Senior executives, Management Appointees from any type and size of organization.  

Learning Process 

This training content will be delivered via Zoom Platform as a virtual classroom by TCB  tutor. This will provide the delegate with the flexibility of attending it from the convenience of their homes or office, without travelling to the physical Training facility. A  quiet work station  with stable internet connectivity, a Laptop/Desktop or a tablet,  a speaker and microphone is all that is needed.

Evaluation, Examination and Certification

Learners are evaluated throughout the programme based on their attendance, participation, and contribution to the programme. At the end of the course, an examination will be conducted online via an e-assessment platform Using “ClassMarker” with in-built Delegates Proctoring system. Your camera and microphone shall remain “ON” at all times during the course and the examination. The on-screen activity during the examination will be recorded for the entire duration of the examination. This is an open-book examination where the learners can refer to the notes taken during the course as well as the standard. The exam duration is 2 hours 30 minutes. The exam questions shall be of Objective Type single choice , multiple choice, subjective Essay type Questions , Mix and match , True or false, as well as fill in the blanks. The pass mark is 50%. The learners can go back and forth and correct or improve the answers previously provided however should not take a break during the Exam unless there is an emergency. There is no extra time provided for such breaks. The certificates of the successful learners shall be transmitted to the designated Email address instantly upon Completion of the examination.

Deliverables.

Unshareable PDF documents e.g  PPTs, Case studies, and a copy of the standard will be provided. The standard and other documents are non-sharable and copyrighted and issued only for learning purposes by TCB Delegates On completion, you’ll be awarded an internationally recognized certificate with IACET CEU 4.0 as per ANSI/IACET 1:2018 standard, a global Gold standard for Continued Education and Training.
